Karen Meder Holland, DBA, MBA, SHRM-SCP
Founder & CEO
Karen is a results-driven Human Resources Executive with over two decades of strategic leadership experience spanning corporate, legal, and operational sectors. Her career is defined by building HR functions from the ground up, restructuring organizations through rapid growth, and directing strategic workforce planning, compensation architecture, and complex employee relations.
In addition to leading KMH Solutions, Karen serves as the Director of Human Resources for a major regional law firm, where she has successfully guided organizational scaling from 500 to over 800 employees, spearheaded HR integrations through multi-firm acquisitions, slashed total turnover by half, and deployed advanced HRIS workflow automation and data analytics dashboards. Her deep industry background also includes scaling human capital infrastructure at multi-location personal injury practices and directing HR operations for Ohio’s largest non-emergency medical transportation provider—where she overhauled the DOT/FTA Drug & Alcohol Program to successfully preserve a critical $10 million corporate contract.
Karen holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Human Resources from Liberty University, an MBA with an HR concentration from Baldwin Wallace University, and a BBA in Management & Labor from Cleveland State University. Her professional credentials include the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation and active licensure across all major lines by the Ohio Department of Insurance.
